Tom Myers’ “Technique Series: Superficial Back Line” focuses on the superficial back line, which is a key element in his anatomy and movement framework. This line runs from the soles of the feet up through the back of the body, including the calves, hamstrings, glutes, erector spinae, and the back of the skull. The series explores how this line affects posture, balance, and movement, emphasizing its role in activities like walking, running, and lifting. It covers the anatomy and function of each muscle group along the line, offers practical exercises, and provides strategies for using this knowledge in rehabilitation, performance enhancement, and injury prevention.
