Katie Davenport-Kabonic – Pause, Rewind, Replay: Breaking the Fourth Wall of Implicit Bias Through Cinemeducation

This lecture will analyze the differences among various cultural, religious, gender identifications to optimize physician-patient relationships and patient well-being.

Learning Objectives:
1. Differentiate between explicit and implicit bias.
2. Identify resources for learning about individual implicit bias.
3. Analyze the cinematic roles in the development of implicit bias.
4. Develop strategies to recognize, curiously explore, and challenge implicit bias.
