THE WISDOM OF THE ELDERS

Time of the Sixth Sun is an inspirational and uplifting documentary film about the shift in global consciousness and the emerging movement to find a new way to walk more lightly on this Earth. Our ancestors understood our symbiotic relationship to nature and the elements, and foresaw the collapse of an unsustainable world. Filmed predominantly in North America, Mexico, Peru, S.Africa, India, Egypt, Israel and Australia, this film is a synergy of ancient wisdom from the indigenous Elders and insights from pioneers of new energy consciousness, who collaboratively hold the vision of a new earth experience.

The film is introduced by Greta Scacchi and narrated by ‘Tobias’, an angelic being who has lived many lifetimes on Earth, channeled by Geoffrey Hoppe. Our crew flew to Colorado and whilst Geoffrey was in a trance state, we asked Tobias if he would tell our story. He called it ‘the biggest evolution of consciousness humanity has ever experienced’.

A sensory feast that promises to be as impactful on the ear as it is on the eye, whilst an original soundtrack seamlessly weaves sacred songs, prayers and chants with the resonant strings of Estas Tonne, virtuoso guitarist and troubadour on his journey. This film explores our awakening process from the point of seeding the planet through to the point of our ascension as we move into a more evolved state of being and ascend to a higher level of collective consciousness.

Change is undeniably afoot and we are seeing it in the streets across the world as people stand up against their corrupt governments and the banking elite. People are beginning to seek their sovereignty and their independence from a dying Dragonian system that no longer serves them. It is on the screens everywhere from the Occupy movement to the global fight against fracking to the desire to see Ecocide become an international crime.

But amidst a world in turmoil, there are those warriors who have been reconnecting with their ancestral roots and in answering their call to awaken, are now re-connecting with the indigenous Elders, who in turn are sharing their oral traditions and knowledge. As this generation of indigenous wisdom keepers return home to Spirit, will these rainbow warriors now become the wisdom keepers of the future?

The Great Dreaming in this instance, refers to the ancient oral traditions lost when Earth’s citizens adopted a modern lifestyle. This lost knowledge of our tribal ways has been kept alive by small groups of remote indigenous cultures around the world, and can still be accessed in the dreamtime, deep within us all. Through the magical healing properties of plant medicines taken in ceremony, these great forgettings can once again be accessed, giving insight into the awesome majesty of humanity’s potential. Remembering what it is that was forgotten may well hold the key to our future as a planetary species.

THE RETURN OF THE DIVINE FEMININE

There is a new way to be in the world. The energy is feminine but has nothing to do with gender. It is a new energy available to us, to be found deep within both men and women. It is the energy we get from the Great Mother Earth – Gaia. As we enter this new phase in our transition, from our relationships to doing business in the world, many corporations are now using these feminine principles within their companies. Sitting in circles rather than in rows. Some of the qualities are that of yielding, surrendering to a higher power, tuning in and intuiting, flowing rather than forcing, taking the path of least resistance and using the heart rather than the mind as our guiding force.

LOCALIZATION NOT GLOBALIZATION

So where are we headed? Time of the Sixth Sun not only addresses our own personal evolutionary journey but looks to what we are collaboratively co-creating for ourselves.

We are consciously creating a new system based on what our ancestors always understood, which is that they foresaw the collapse of this unsustainable world and that it’s time to recognize our symbiotic relationship to nature and the elements once more. It is time to dream what this new world might look like. Time of the Sixth Sun will take you on that journey.

It seems clear that it is time to return to local economies the world over. Globalization has only served to separate communities and countries alike whilst widening the gap between those who have and those who haven’t.

In recent years there has been a huge global backlash to this banking and shareholder elite. Speakers like Charles Eisenstein and Polly Higgins speak of a new economy. A sacred economy, where the rights of Mother Earth are not only considered, but are honoured and spiritual warriors the world over are now supporting the drive to make Ecocide the fifth international crime. No longer will corporate companies be allowed to destroy our lands in the name of profit and CEO’s will finally have to take responsibility for their actions.

We are now seeing communites up and down the country supporting their own economies where local growers and businesses network with each other and reach out to other local communities, supporting the same ethos. This also includes reducing their energy consumption and waste, creating local currencies and barter systems, subscribing to local freeshare websites, and developing transition towns which endeavour to keep their carbon footprint low by introducing car share schemes. In many indigenous cultures, this is known as Ubuntu.

Local communities are increasing quality and productivity in how they grow their food and honour their lands. They are rekindling and strengthening their connection to those within their own locality, and are now placing far more economic importance on favouring this local connectivity than in supporting the monster supermarkets and massive distribution networks. They are finally starting to wean themselves off the corporate machine, reclaiming their power and becoming sovereign, independent humane beings.
